The Classroom Assessment Technique: Word Journal

 

There are literally hundreds of informal assessment techniques, not to mention new ones are being created every day in classrooms all over the world. With different spins and variations, the possibilities are quite endless! While studying some of the classroom assessment techniques outlined by Angelo and Cross, I discovered the "Word Journal". It caught my attention as I found it very practical and immediately helpful in summarizing one of my favorite short stories. The video was created using Canva, on an out-of-date laptop. enjoy!
